TANAH DATAR - A total of 137 Movement Teachers of the 9th Batch in Tanah Datar were inaugurated by Tanah Datar Regent Eka Putra, represented by Expert Staff for Economics and Development, Nusyirwan, on Sunday (June 23, 2024) in Batusangkar.
The inauguration was marked by the presentation of sashes and certificates to the movement teachers.
In his speech, Regent Putra emphasized the local government's commitment to advancing education.
"The Tanah Datar Regency Government always encourages the Education and Culture Office to create innovations that can mobilize educators, implement lessons, and become agents of transformation in realizing the Pancasila generation," he said.
The regent also stressed the government's full support for the education programs launched by the Ministry of Education and Culture, including the Movement Teacher program. The inauguration included 137 educators, 2 recognitions, and 28 practical trainers.
"Be leaders in the movement and set an example for other teachers to be motivated to follow the Movement Teacher program," he said, as released by the local Communications Office.
The regent added that the inaugurated movement teachers are expected to become school leadership cadres capable of creating excellent students and schools.
The inauguration event was attended by the Head of the Education and Culture Office, Inhenri Abbas, the Secretary of BKPSDM, Irsyad, the Chairman of PGRI, and several other officials.
With this inauguration, it is hoped that the movement teachers will play an active role in improving the quality of education in Tanah Datar Regency and become an inspiration to their peers. (mus;kiprahkita.com)
