The Indonesian government sent four humanitarian aid planes to help Turkey after the earthquake. The first group arrived on February 12, 2023, using two B-737-500 military aircraft and 1 Hercules C-130 aircraft.
The two aircraft will transport 47 Medium Urban SAR INASAR Teams from the National SAR Agency (BASARNAS) along with equipment and logistical assistance from the Ministry of Defence. The second group will arrive on February 14, 2023 using Garuda Indonesia's Airbus A 330-300 aircraft.
The second group brought the Emergency Medical Team (EMT) which was coordinated by the Ministry of Health and consisted of various elements including teams from the TNI, Polri and Muhammadiyah Health.
Apart from bringing medical personnel, the second group will also carry 35 tons of humanitarian aid coordinated by BNPB.
The 35 tons of humanitarian assistance included 200 generators, a field hospital, refugee tents, blankets and various other items that were prepared by BNPB according to a list of needs submitted by the Turkish authorities.
The third group is expected to arrive on February 19, 2023 using an Airbus A 330-300 aircraft owned by Garuda Indonesia airline and will carry 35 tons of cargo of humanitarian logistical assistance. "According to the direction of the Turkish side, Adana will be the debarkation point for all humanitarian aid mission flights from the Indonesian government," said Iqbal.

Meanwhile, still according to parstoday.ir news, Iran's Minister of Roads and Urban Development agreed to abolish aviation and airport taxes on planes carrying humanitarian aid for earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria.

Now all planes carrying humanitarian aid to Turkey and Syria can pass through Iran's air zone and airports in these countries free of charge.
