According to him, the Tanah Datar Regency Government through related agencies will also continue to promote this Alek Pacu Jawi, and one of the things the regional government is doing is to make a Tanah Datar tourism agenda.

"This month we will launch an annual tourism calendar in Tanah Datar Regency, and we will do it in Pekanbaru City. Why in Pekanbaru? Because many Pekanbaru residents go on trips to Tanah Datar, and one of them is the Alek Pacu Jawi event calendar," explained Regent Eka.

The Regent also said that in 2022 tourist visits to Tanah Datar will also increase. This was influenced by the One Nagari One Event program whose visitors were extraordinary.

Pacu jawi is very closely related to the cultural customs of the people, and through the Alek Pacu Jawi Tanah Datar, it is increasingly known and visited by foreign tourists.
